Steck Joins Atlas Copco as VP of Communications and Branding

Stockholm, Sweden — Ellen Steck, former vice president of marketing for RSC Equipment Rental, has rejoined former RSC parent company Atlas Copco as vice president of communications and branding. Steck will be based in Belgium.

Steck joined RSC in January 2000 as vice president of eBusiness and has served as vice president of marketing since 2001, overseeing all marketing functions including company communications, branding and customer acquisition/retention, market research, region pricing support, Web applications and the 24/7 employee-staffed call center. Before joining RSC, Steck held sales management positions in wired and wireless telephone communications, followed by an executive marketing position as vice president for business development for Taylor Corp. Steck served an as adjunct faculty member in the marketing department at Minnesota St. University for six years and has held several board of director roles including positions with local chapters of The United Way, The American Red Cross, Rotary International and the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce.

In her new role, Steck will be Compressor Technique's representative in the group's trademark council and will work with corporate communications with respect to web communications (Internet and Intranet), media relations, and various corporate productions and publications.
