HILLIARD, Ohio — The Hilliard, Ohio, NationsRent branch was gutted in an early morning fire February 8, according to a report by NewsChannel 4 out of Columbus.

According to the report, the two-alarm blaze was under control within an hour of the response by Norwich Township and Columbus firefighters.

Drew Pickens, director of corporate communications for Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based NationsRent, told RER that the cause of the fire was still under investigation and damage estimates to the business were not available.

NationsRent has provided uninterrupted service to its customers, Pickens said. Two neighboring NationsRent branches in Columbus and a temporary facility at the site of the fire are serving customers. According to Pickens, refurbishment of the Hilliard store is already underway.

NationsRent is No. 6 on the RER 100.
