Acme Lift Co., a Phoenix-based re-rent specialist, last week announced it will expand its fleet to include Manlift’s large scissor-lift platforms.

Woody Weld, Acme president, said the decision to add Manlift scissors with platform heights of 68 to 105 feet came after studying the market and customer needs.

“In the past, our fleet has consisted exclusively of large boom lifts, but we have been tracking a growing demand for large scissor platforms and after careful study are now adding the large Manlift scissor units to our fleet,” said Weld. “This will greatly expand our equipment offering to rental centers and provide them a valuable resource to supplement their own fleet.”

The new Manlift machines are now being delivered and will include the following models: S6899, S8099, S8599 and S105119 respectively. Maximum working heights are 75, 86, 91 and 111 feet respectively.
